Terms of use
Effective date: 23 October 2026 · Version: 1.0
These terms apply to the Chrome extension ApplyKeep ("ApplyKeep") and its online service, provided by Suheyl Baghban, a private individual in Latvia ("we"; contact: support@applykeep.com). By installing ApplyKeep or creating an account you accept these terms. Our privacy policy explains how your data is handled.
1. What ApplyKeep does
ApplyKeep helps you prepare job applications for postings you open in Chrome:
- it reads a job posting when you press a button and compares it with your profile (fit analysis);
- it suggests new wordings for the bullets of your experience that suit the posting; your profile changes only when you accept a suggestion and save it;
- it drafts cover letters in the language and tone you choose;
- it prints your profile as a CV in common European formats;
- it fills in the fields of an application form you have open with your personal details, when you press "Fill this form";
- it shows how complete your profile is (profile completeness) and what you could add;
- it keeps a list of your applications with follow-up reminders.
Fit analyses, CV improvement suggestions, cover letters and CV imports are generated by AI (Claude, by Anthropic) through our server. The CV formats, the form filling, the profile completeness score and the tracker work on your computer without the AI.
ApplyKeep never applies for jobs on your behalf: it doesn't submit forms, click "Apply" or "Next", or send applications. It fills a form only when you ask, and you check every field before you send it yourself. You decide what to send, to whom and when.
2. AI-generated content: review it before you use it
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable, even though ApplyKeep instructs the AI to use only the facts in your profile and never invent experience, qualifications, numbers or dates.
- Read and check everything before you use it, in particular every statement about you in a cover letter and every CV improvement before you accept it: a new wording must not make your role or results bigger than they were. You are responsible for what you send to employers and for its being true.
- The fit category (strong, medium, weak) is an estimate from the posting text and your profile. It is not an assessment by an employer and says nothing certain about your chances.
- The profile completeness score (0 to 100) counts what your profile contains by fixed rules. It measures how complete and specific the profile is, not how good you are or how likely you are to be hired.
- Form filling can put a value in the wrong field or miss one, as forms differ: check every field it filled before you submit a form.
- Languages marked "beta" and CV headings that no native speaker has checked yet may contain mistakes; check these texts with particular care.
- CV formats show common norms of a country in a few points; they are general information, not advice for a particular employer. The "Europass-style" format is not the official Europass CV and has no connection to the European Union; the official one is available at europass.europa.eu.
3. No guarantee of interviews or jobs
ApplyKeep helps you present what is already true about you. We don't promise and can't guarantee interviews, job offers, responses from employers, or that an applicant tracking system will process your documents in a particular way.
4. Your account and the free allowance
- The AI features need an account. You sign in with Google or with your email address and a code we send to it. Keep access to your Google or email account secure; you are responsible for activity in your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use ApplyKeep.
- The free plan includes a number of fit analyses, cover letters, CV imports and CV improvements per calendar month, shown in the extension. To keep the service available for everyone, there are also short-term rate limits, a fair-use limit of AI requests per person and day on every plan (shown in the extension), and a daily limit on free requests across all users; when a daily limit is reached, the AI is unavailable until the next day. We may change the free allowance; we will announce a reduction in the extension at least 30 days before it applies.
4a. Pro
Pro, a paid plan with more AI uses, isn't on sale yet. Before it is, we will add its conditions (price, renewal, cancellation, refunds and your right of withdrawal) to these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You may use ApplyKeep only for your own job applications and only lawfully. In particular, you may not:
- put false information into your profile in order to create misleading applications;
- automate ApplyKeep, send requests in bulk, or use it to apply for jobs in mass;
- try to get around the allowance, rate limits or sign-in, or use other people's accounts;
- attack, overload or probe our server, or access it other than through the extension;
- use ApplyKeep to collect data about other people or to read pages you have no right to read;
- use ApplyKeep in breach of the terms of the job sites you visit.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, after a warning where this is reasonable, and tell you why by email.
6. Your content
Your CV, profile and the texts ApplyKeep generates for you are yours. You give us only the rights we need to process them in order to provide the features you use (see the privacy policy). We don't claim ownership of AI output generated for you; as far as we have any rights in it, you may use it freely.
7. Other services and trademarks
ApplyKeep reads postings from job sites and career pages, such as LinkedIn, Indeed, StepStone, Glassdoor or XING. These sites and their trademarks belong to their owners; ApplyKeep is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Their own terms apply when you use them. A site can change at any time, so reading a posting may stop working; you can then select or paste the text.
8. Availability and changes to ApplyKeep
We work to keep ApplyKeep available but can't promise that it works without interruption, for example when the AI provider or our hosting is unavailable. We may change, add or remove features; if a change significantly reduces what you pay for, you can cancel and get a refund for the paid period that remains.
9. Liability
We are liable without limit for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where the law doesn't allow liability to be limited. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breaching an essential obligation of these terms, and only for the typical damage that could be foreseen. ApplyKeep's free plan is offered as it is, without any further warranty. Your rights as a consumer that can't be excluded by contract stay unaffected.
ApplyKeep keeps your data on your computer; keeping a copy of anything important (for example your CV file) is your responsibility. "Delete all my data" and removing the extension delete it.
10. Ending the use
You can stop using ApplyKeep at any time: "Delete all my data" in Settings deletes your account and everything stored on your computer, and you can remove the extension from Chrome. We may end the free service with at least 30 days' notice.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when paid plans are added. We will tell you about significant changes in the extension or by email at least 30 days before they take effect; if you don't agree, you can stop using ApplyKeep and delete your data.
12. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live: they still apply, and you can go to the courts there.
If something goes wrong, please write to us first at support@applykeep.com; we will try to solve it with you. You can also contact the consumer protection authority in your own country. If you live in the EU, Iceland or Norway, the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) can help you free of charge with a complaint against a trader in another country.
The consumer dispute resolution body for traders in Latvia is the Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission of the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia (PTAC, www.ptac.gov.lv).
